Edsel Youngstar

Here is a photo of an Edsel Youngstar electric toy car that was given away by some dealers as a promotion. The car belongs to Ramon Jones, and was won from Hills Motors in Atlanta by a member of his wife's family.

Ramon has shown the car at various cruises, along with the "real thing", as pictured here.

As can be seen from this dealer information, an Edsel dealer could purchase a Youngstar for $259.50. That was a lot of money for a toy in 1957!
