On November 19, 2009, the 50th anniversary of the day Ford discontinued the Edsel, Edsel fans gathered at the Louisville
Assembly Plant where 2/3 of all Edsels were built. Below are some media reports and videos of the activities.

On November 18, 2009 a lunch was held at the UAW 862 Hall and several former autoworkers were present who helped build Edsels in 1957-1959.
Then on November 19, 2009 Edsel fans were treated to a tour of the Louisville Assembly Plant, the birthplace of many Edsels. The highlight of the tour was the placing of 3 Edsels, representing each model year, onto the assembly line for the first time in 50 years.
